NEW SETTLERS
WOMAN AND TWO SONS FROM LATVIA EMPLOYMENT IN DUNEDIN Three pew settlers from Latvia arrived in Dunedin yesterday. .They are Mrs Aleksandra Procutiene, and her two sons, Messrs Vaclobas Procuta, aged 19, and Genutis Procuta, aged 16. In Latvian, the surname has both masculine and feminine form. Mrs Procutiene will be engaged as a clothing machinist in\Dunedin and her sons will also be employed here. They have been provided with private accommodation by the Department of Labour and Employment. Officers of the department were at the Railway Station yesterday afternoon to meet the new settlers and to convey them to their home.
