Down to earth and all beef, this 10-months Hereford calf brought 33,333 dollars and 33 cents—the highest price ever paid for a junior bull calf at the American Royal Live Stock and Horse Show last year. The valuable calf, named S O Symbol Seth, was sold by the Suncrest Hereford Ranches of Gunnison, Colorado, and Phoenix, Arizona, to the Combs and Worley Ranch of Pampas, Texas. The American trend to “breed off the legs” of beef cattle is evident, from this animal.
