USA Far East Command Changes
NZPA—Copyright Rec. 0.45 a.m. TOKIO Oct. 13. The abolishment of the Philippines Command, consisting of one service tinit, and the creation of a new Philippines Air Command as the major command in the United States Far East Command, was announced to-day. Major-general Howard Turner has been named commanding general with headquarters at Clark Field.
