Soviet Reports Traces In

Armenia

Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 22. Traces of Palaeolithic man have been found in Armenia and the Transcaucasus by scientific workers of the Armenian Academy of Science, said Moscow radio. It added that “Western bourgeois ” scientists had preached a false creed that the area could not have been inhabited in the Palaeolithic era. Traces found by the Armenian scientific workers proved that man had inhabited the area since the dawn of mankind’s history.
