An LGU Match in conjunction with a Flag Trophy Match will be played this week. The C Grade will also play for trophies presented by Mesdames Grater and Barclay. Miss Christie: Miss Colquhoun, a bye. The best score returned in the Mary Orbell Memorial Cup round was by Mrs Ritchie, 108—24—84. The best cards in the bogey match were returned by Miss Bee 4 down, Miss Doak 5 down. Mrs Frame 6 down.
The draw for the singles knock-out competition has been posted at the clubhouse. Match play ’rules must be observed and the strokes (three-quarters of the difference in each pair’s handicaps) are to be taken as per the table for match play given on the reverse side of the score card. The draw for the C Grade championship has also been posted and match play rules (which include stymies) must be observed. The first round of both competitions must be played before July 4. /
