McCready v. Holmback
A newcomer to New Zealand wrestling, Eric Holmback, who tips the scale at 18st 121 b, will appear in Oamaru on Thursday night when he will meet the British Empire champion, Earl McCready. McCready appeared in Oamaru last year, and is always a favourite. It is seldom that he is defeated, but on Thursday he will meet a wrestler who will extend him to the limit. Holmback has proved a hard man to beat and his headlocks invariably weaken an opponent sufficiently to allow for a dump or dumps and a fall A willing bout should be seen and intending patrons are advised to reserve at Begg's.
