SERIOUSLY INJURED
■ A motor cyclist was seriously injured when he collided with a taxi at the corner of Jetty , and Cumberland ■treets about 5 p.m. yesterday. He was Alexander Leckie, aged 26, of Bay View road, a waterside worker. He received head ' injuries and he was placed on the seriously ill list at the Dunedin hospital last night. The taxi was driven by Cecil Charles Stallard. It was extensively damaged.
