WAITAKI SUB-UNION
Meeting of Management Committee Mr A. Dobson was in the chair at the monthly meeting of the Management C anmittee of the Waitaki Rugby Sub-union There were also present Messrs A. Smith, J. Ledingham, J. Dovey, R. Hay, J. Simpson, W. Laird, A. Grant, J. M. Wilson, and the secretary, Mr G. Monagan. Mr A. Dobson was appointed manager of the Country teams to play Town at Oamaru on Saturday, and Mr A. Grant coach of both teams. It was agreed to accept July 16 as the date for the return Town v. Country matches. A deputation from the Papakaio Ploughing Match Society waited on the committee and asked if a match could be held in conjunction with' the ploughing match. It was agreed to arrange a suitable match at a later date.
