DISCLOSURES IN AUSTRALIA

Sensational disclosures relating to a racehorse-doping gang in three States are expected to follow a special investigation by detectives in the Criminal Investigation Bureau. It is understood that the detectives were told that most of the doped horses had won and the gang had cleaned up huge sums. , , _ For several weeks detectives have been obtaining information for a large dossier, and it is understood that if action is not taken by the police the dossier wifi be passed on to the Australian Jockey Clud. It is understood that the gang has been operating in New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria for at least two years, and that a large number of stable employees, several chemists, and well-known Sydney professional men are involved.
