Annual Provincial Conference
Mr A. McMillan was in the chair at the annual conference of the North Otago Provincial District of Federated Farmers yesterday afternoon. Officers elected were:—President, Mr A. McMillan; vice-presidents, Messrs W. R. Macaulay (senior) and A. Malcolm (junior); treasurer, Mr J. Kingan; auditor, Mr A. W. Woodward: secretary. Farm Accounting Society: delegates 'to Dominion conference, Messrs McMillan and Macaulay. Thanks were extended to the secretary, Mr C. C. Gillies, for his assistance and work in the interests of the organisation during the past year. “We all agree that Mr Gillies has given us excellent service,” said Mr Doig. An address on ” Some-Aspects of British Farming ” was given by Mr A. Grant, Studholme Junction, who recently returned from England.
