SALE OF HOTEL
ORIGINAL DECISION TO STAND PA WELLINGTON, May 27. The Wellington Rural Land Valuation Committee has decided that its original decision on the sale of the Grand Hotel, Palmerston North, should not be disturbed. The committee, consisting of Mr O. N. Campbell (chairman), Mr G. A. Hansen, and Mr R. D6wnes, gave judgment to-day. _ G. R. Clarke sought revocation of the committee’s consent for sale of the hotel to him 'for £34,000. The vendor was Anthony Marcus Kingsbeer. Clarke alleged that misleading statements had been made to the committee at the original hearing.
