PALMERSTON DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL
Sir,—There is considerable concern in this district for the erection of a new school to replace the existing one, whicn has given good service for about 85 years, and has been kept in good repair by the Education Board. I am of the opinion that the present number, of pupils are not cramped, the teachers enjoy reasonable comfort, the rooms are well heated during the winter, and with the. present shortages of materials. I do not consider that a new building is warranted. —I am, etc., Ex-pupil.
