Hepburn, tljat owing to the shipping position ftnd a scarcity of cardboard, it was Possible that the station would rur. out of supplies of dated milk bottle caps Supplies of plain “ pasteurised ” caps were not available, and he suggested that, if it became neoessary, “ srhool milk” caps should be used.. The public would be advised of the change if it were introduced at any time. When Mr E. J. Smith said that he had received complaints about the use of pint bottles from consumers who had to carry four or five of them for a long distance from the gate, the chairman explained that the difficulty arose from the shortage of bottles. Others present at the meeting were Dr G. O. L. Dempster, T. McD. Foster, j; G. Barnes, N. D. Anderson, T. #McAhan, and N. H. Shepherd.
