GUN-RUNNING CHARGES
NEW ZEALANDER IN COSTA * RICA PAPERS ON CASE FORWARDED TO DOMINION ■ LONDON, May 25. The Commonwealth. Relations Office states that all papers in connection with the recent arrest in Costa Rica of the New Zealand journalist, Keith Berry, who has been accused by the Panamanian authorities of gun-run-ning activities, have been forwarded to the Department of External Affairs, Wellington. As a result of the intervention of British consular authorities, Berry, who was imprisoned in Costa Rica, is understood to have been released.
