NO EARLY RELAXATION TRADE COMMISSIONER’S VIEW Daily Times Special Service AUCKLAND, May 26. There was in his opinion no chance of a relaxation in the dollar position for the next three years, said Mr R. W. Marshall, New Zealand Trade Commissioner in the United States and commercial attache at the Washington Embassy, when he addressed the council of the Auckland Manufacturers’ Association. Asked about the attitude of United States manufacturers who were losing old-established markets in New Zealand because of the dollar crisis, Mr Marshall said that American business people were conscious of the problem and had put pressure on their Government to find ways qnd means of creating dollar credits.
