The Waikato Racing Club's winter meeting will at Te Rapa on Saturday, when the principal events will be the King Country Steeplechase and the Tyler Memorial Handicap, each carrying a stake of £IOOO. The weather has been mainly fine and unless there is rain the going should be excellent. The forecast is for unsettled weather and some rain.
