Special to the Dally Times AUCKLAND, May 26. The Waikato Racing Club's winter meeting will at Te Rapa on Saturday, when the principal events will be the King Country Steeplechase and the Tyler Memorial Handicap, each carrying a stake of £IOOO. The weather has been mainly fine and unless there is rain the going should be excellent. The forecast is for unsettled weather and some rain. Horses likely to find favour include:— 11.0: Winter Hack Hurdles.—First Division: Duke Royal, Minion, Christopher Wren. Second division: Ginna Boy, Leigh Hark, Corsair. , 11.45: Parana JJack Handicap.—First division: Cornishman, Dora Lee, Ollivier Second division: Chatrill, Dallas, HeroW 12.30: Manning Hack Cup.—First division: The Bat, Martial Song, Strathfield. Second division: Akbar. Kauri Pine, Jildi J °L2O: King Country Steeplechase.—First Act. Red Glare, Hazsoult 2 10- Tyler Memorial Handicap.—Rizzio Lady Carmel, Miss Bairnsfather. 30- Victoria Hurdles.—Ruling Master Moutoa Lord, Roman Duke. 3 50: Flying Handicap.—Our Dink, Ozami, Shirley Fox. 4 40 - Farewell Handicap.—Remand, Bramble Leighon, Detract. OTAGO HUNT CLUB The Otago Hunt Club will hold its weekly meet to-morrow afternoon at Highcliff over the properties of Messrs Kennedy Bros., T. W. Dickson, W. Campbell, J and N. Robertson, J. Farquhar, G. Donaldson, and A. Duncan. Followers will meet at the Kennels at 1.15 p.m.
