INCREASED EXPENSES
ANTHONY HORDERN, LIMITED Rec. 8 p.m. SYDNEY, May 26. Greatly-increased expenses reduced the profit fjrom larger sales by . Anthony Hordern and Sons, Ltd., for the year ended February 23, said the chairman, Mr S G. Rowe, at the annual meeting. The wage's bill had increased by about 21 per cent, in the year. The company could carry such increases only if the turnover rose and profit margins were not whittled way by prices control.
