CLEARING SALE
WAITAHUNA There was a large attendance of buyers from surrounding and outside districts at yesterday’s sale at Waitahun.a,\ which was conducted by Wright, Stephenson on account of Mr F. E. Kesteven. Bidding was spirited throughout, and prices were most satisfactory. One of the attractions of the offering was the champion show horse Grey Lancer, which' realised lOOgns. Quotations: — Sheep.—One, two and three-shear Romney rams, 48s; four-year Romney ewes, 40s 3d; wether lambs, 33s 6d. Draught horses made £lO to £ll. Implements; Power mower, £6B; M.H. drill, £92; three-furrow R. and G. plough, £lO2 10s; lime sower, £55; other implements, sundries, cattle, and household furniture realised full market values.
