MAORI GIRL FOUND HANGING
PA GISBORNE May 25. A 12-year-old s Maori girl. Niki Tipene. was found hanging from a rafter near a shed outside her home at Wahulca, near Tikitiki, on Monday night Niki Tipene, who was at home with her elder sister, went to bring wood from the shed, and when she did not return her sister searched and found the child hanging with a board near her feet. An inquest will be held later.
