NEW TANKER BERTH
PA AUCKLAND, May 14. A new tanker berth at the ehd of the Eastern Breakwater was officially opened to-day when the first British Petroleum Company tanker to visit Auckland, the British Knight, berthed there. The British Knight, which arrived from Abadan (Persia) via Wellington, last evening, has 900 tons of aviation and 3000 tons of 70 octane motor spirit for Auckland. This fuel is being pumped into the new storage tanks on the eastern reclamation. One of a fleet of 124 ships, the British Knight is timed to sail on Tuesday for Suva, where she will discharge 700 tons of petroL
