£looo Scholarship In Art
PA WELLINGTON, May 12. A scholarship in art valued at £IOOO, tenable for two years, has been set up by the Association of New Zealand Art Societies. The successful candidate will be given the choice of country or countries in which he or she'will pursue art studies. .. The candidate will need a high standard of achievement in painting or sculpture, and will need to be of high promise, says a statement by the association. The candidate must be resident in New Zealand, and must undertake to return t*> this conn*«*v for at l»ast two years on completion of the studies abroad.
