Buying of lead is reported to have shown some revival in the United States lately, but business in the metal in Britain is almost at a standstill. The cause of the inactivity in Britain is a belief that the Ministry of Supply must soon adjust the selling price in line with world values. The trade generally, says a London message, is buying only immediate requirements, and at the same time is reducing stocks.
