REMANDS GRANTED
MAGISTRATE’S COURT CASES In the Magistrate's Court yesterday before Mr J D. Willis, S.M., Kenneth Joseph Lowe, on charges of attempted suicide and assault causing actual bodily harm at Waitahuna on April 27, was further remanded until this morning. Malcolm Wynne Rollo, a kitchen hand, aged 18. was charged with breaking and entering the shop of H. Shurruck on April 10 last. Chief Detective Hall said that a number of other charges would probably be brought against the accused, who was remanded until May 19. The accused was represented by Mr A. G. Neill. Keith Robert Hammond, a labourer, aged 35. on two charges of stealing clothing, was remanded until May 16. William Joseph Salmon, a mercer, aged 23, was remanded until May 16 on a charge of the theft of £57 in money, health stamps valued at £5, and a cheque for £1 Is 3d from the premises of Dickinson, Mytton and Co., Ltd.
