NO REQUEST FOR AID FROM NEW ZEALAND
PA WELLINGTON, May 11. No request had been made so far by the British authorities for assistance by New Zealand in respect qf the situation at Hongkong, the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, stated to-day. when asked if the Government intended to despatch a warship or take similar action in view of the situation in the Far East.
