ROYAL SOCIETY
NEW FELLOWS ELECTED PA WELLINGTON, May 11. The council of the Royal Society of New Zealand at its annual meeting today elected Dr R. O. Page (Christchurch), Mr G. Simpson (Dunedin), Dr J. T. Salmon (Wellington), and Professor F. G. Soper (Dunedin) Fellows of the society. Formerly of Auckland University College and now of Raffles University. Singapore, Professor R. A. Robinson has been given the Hector Memorial Award for chemistry by the council of the Royal Society.
