MAGISTRATE’S COURT
In a judgment summons case, Waitaki Supply Stores v. James Lockhart, which came before Mr J. G. Warrington, S.M., at a sitting of the Oamaru Magistrate s Court yesterday, an order was made that unless the defendant paid into court forthwith the amount of the claim, £3 Gs 3d (costs £D. lie be imprisoned in the Paparua prison for three days. The defended claim for possession of a dwelling at 9 Nen street, J. A. and M Strachan (Messrs Hamilton and Salisbury) v. A. V Taylor (Mr' H. J. S. Grater), was adjourned sine, die after an agreement had been reached.
