UNION AGITATORS
CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE SEEK REMOVAL PA AUCKLAND, May 11. An appeal to the rank and file of the watersiders to free their unions from agitators was made to-day at the Associated Chambers of Commerce conference by Mr S, Hughson, of New Plymouth, a member of the executive. He said an “ impossible war ” had been waged by the Transport Committed against the slow-turn-round of ships. In view of the Cecil Sharpley revelations in the Australian and New Zeaand press he suggested an open letter to the watersiders from the conference through the press.
