This may lead to delay in transmission because illegible words need to be verified. A badly written message may cause confusion or misunderstanding. The address should be full enough to ehable the telegram to be delivered without reference to other sources of information. Include the house num'ber and the name of the street. This will save delay. Experiments conducted by the Post Office have proved conclusively that the use of block letters in telegrams improves speed of handling throughout transmission.
