ST. LEGER STAKES WINNER SECOND DAY AT ELLERSLIE PA AUCKLAND, Apl. 18. The weather was again, perfect for the second day of the Auckland Racing Club’s autumn meeting, which was held at Ellerslie to-day. The track was in good order. The attendance was 30,000, compared with 28,000 on the second day last year. The totalisator handled £212,753, compared with £206,852 10s on the same day last year, an increase of £5900 10s. The total for the two days was £444,013, compared with £415,402 last year, an increase of £28,611.
