FIRE CALLS
The wall of a washhouse on a property in Lochend street, Tainui, caught fire on Saturday night, but only slight damage was done. The call was answered by the brigade at 6.13 p.m. There were also a chimney fire in Broughton street. St. Kilda, at 9.5 a.m.. and a scrub fire in Robertson street, Caversham. at 8.41 p.m Yesterday, at 2.50, a chimney fire i Oxford street was put out.
