BAVARIAN MIRACLE
CHRIST’S WOUNDS REPRODUCED NZPA—Copyright LONDON, Apl. 15. More than 2000 Germans and Americans flocked to the small Bavarian farming village of Konnersreuth to see Christ’s wounds reproduced on the body of Therese Neumann, a 51-year-old peasant woman, for the twentyfourth Good, Friday in succession, says Reuter's correspondent. A village official said that Frau Neumann bled to-day from wounds located in the same parts of her body as those which Christ suffered at the crucifixion. Several medical experts who have examined Frau Neumann’s stigmata have been unable either - to explain or discredit the phenomena. Local inhabitants declared that Frau Neumann has not eaten solid food since Christmas. 1922, nor liquids since 1927. They say her only nourishment had been the sacramental waters of the Roman Catholic communion rite.
