CRASH LANDING
NEW PLANE DAMAGED PA ROTORUA, Apl. 17. The Rotorua Aero Club’s four-seater Fairchild, which was acquired by the club about two months ago to replace a previously-damaged plane, crashlanded on the aerodrome about 5.30 this afternoon. The pilot, V. Hunter with three passengers, was to have made the last of a series of sightseeing trips. The motor stopped at 200 feet after the take-off, and Hunter brought the machine back on to the landing field with slight damage to the under-carriage and propeller. No one was hurt.
