ARRANGEMENTS FOR EAStER WEEK-END The Chief Post Office advises that the following arrangements have been made for the Easter week-end:— To-day (Saturday), Chief Post Office: The usual Saturday hours of business will be observed in telegraph and mail room branches. There will be no attendance in the money order and savings bank * branches. There will be no delivery by postmen. Sunday: A clearance of suburban post office boxes and street receivers will be made at 9 p.m. Easter Monday: The Post Office will be closed in all branches, but mails for despatch will close at 6 am. There will be one despatch only of air mail closing at 6 a.m. A clearance will be made of suburban post office boxes and street receivers at 9 p.m The private box lobby will be open as usual There will be no delivery by postmen. Telegraph offices usually open on holidays will observe holiday attendance. The Dunedin office will open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The principal telephone exchanges will be open continuously. Other exchanges will observe the usual holiday attendances.
