Chance for Leyma Wairarapa Meeting
Special to the Daily Times WELLINGTON, Apl. 15. Barrage, top-weight for the Easter Handicap at the Wairarapa meeting, will not fulfil his engagement as he is to contest the Feilding Cup. There has been some rain in the Wairarapa this week, but the track is in good order for the opening day of the Wairarapa Racing Club’s Easter meeting. Horses in favour are:— 11.0: Tuhitarata High-weight.—Supreme Shepherd, Mine Host, Dandy Ninth 11.45: Maiden Plate.—Pervin Autograph, Grande Dame. 12.30: Mokai Hack Handicap.— Silver Mascot. Roscarea, Jet Plane. 1.15: Easter Handicap—Leyma, Veine d'Or, Roval Victor 2.0: Wairarapa Nursery Handicap.— Pictagain, Gleam, Jollv Sailor. 2.45- Ferry Hack Handicap.— Foxtonian, Closeburn. Sir Denzil. 3.30 • Martinboroush Handicap.—Fleetwood, Follow Suit. Blue Bonny. 4.15. Kahutar Hack Handicap.—Coshona. Destination, Proclaim.
