STOCK SALES
CLINTON The Clinton Stock Sale was held under wintry conditions on Thursday, 1200 sheep being yarded. Bidding was confined to local buyers and in sympathy with the recent fall in wool prices an easing in values was evident. In spite of this factor prices for all grades were satisfactory. Quotations. —Good four-shear Romney cross ewes, 43s 7d; two-tooth Romney cross wethers, 44s to 455; small tussock ewe iambs, 27s 3d to 335; forward wether lambs, 345; medium wether lambs, 26s 3d; oneshear Romney rams, 8 guineas to 91 guineas; two-shear Romney rams, to 10 guineas; aged rams, to 2\ guineas.
