PEN-NAMES

Sir,—l notice letters to the editor recently appearing under the nom de plume of “ Young Sarah." I do not consider it at all fair that correspondents should write controversial letters to you using a woman’s Christian name. I have a young near relative of the same name who bitterly resents seeing her name in the paper publicly displayed in this manner, and it has caused her considerable worry and pain. Correspondents should have plenty of names to choose from without taking women’s Christian names to be displayed in the public columns and causing others of the same name to be held up to ridicule.—l am. etc.. Very Worried.-
