“FORWARD TO CHAOS”
Sir,—” Retired Farmer ” relates his experience, mentioning the Labour Government, of which he is plainly a favourer. May I be permitted to point out to him that his account of his “ bit of experience ’’ makes no difference whatever to the point at issue? He merely shows himself to have a narrow, selfish view. His attitude is obviously of the what-do-I-get-out-of-it variety. He has congratulations to dispense. Mine go to ” Matilda, who, I think, has a clearer vision than “Retired Farmer." and those whom he congratulates. , . ~ ... .. The point at issue is not the bit of experience *' of yo.ur correspondent, out whether or not we are travelling forward to chaos. The higher cost of living, the vicious spiral upwards, the general unrest, these are all indications that we are indeed moving with considerable acceleration to chaos. May I add. my sincere thanks to “Matilda” ’for her perspicacious contributions. —I am, etc., Sarnia. [This correspondence is closed.—Ed. ODT.I
