SHEEP-FARMING ANNUAL
A great deal of sheepfarming knowledge, based on experimental and practical experience, is contained within the covers of the Sheepfarming Annual, 1948, published by Massey Agricultural College. It is fair to claim this publication as a textbook on sheep farming, contributed to by a good seasoning of practical farmers as well as by many of the leading agricultural experts of New Zealand. This book, together with the Dairy Farming Annual published some weeks ago, is a decided contribution to agricultural journalism in the Dominion. Filling a long-felt want, the annuals are worthy of a wide reading public. Both owe their origin to the annual conferences of farmers at the college, which have become very popular.
