A yarding of 4000 sheep was forward for yesterday’s sale at Milton. The entry was' a mixed one, with several pens of tussock wethers. All classes commanded keen attention. An excellent sale resulted. Quotations: Medium Romney cross two-tooth ewes made 56s 6d; small, 395: four and six-tooth tussock ewes, 38s 6d: good s.m. crossbred ewes, 38s 6d to 395: medium, 35s to 365; good f. and f.m. ewes, 31s to 335; medium, 23s to 265; average fine-woolled f.m. ewes, 29s Id; good Romney cross ewe lambs 48s 6d; medium, 39s to 42s 9d: small, to 33s 6d; forwardconaition rape lambs, 38s 3d to 39s 9d; good wether lambs, 34s to 35s 6d; medium, 29s 3d to 80s; cull, 245; medium-quality m.s. lambs, 29s to 335; cull m.s. lambs, 24s- two-tooth tussock wethers, fils 7d; four-tooth tussock wethers, 40s to 46s 3d; mixed-aged wethers, 46s to 475.
