VOTING ON REFERENDA
CLUTHA ELECTORATE The official count of votes in the Clutha electorate on the recent gaming and licensing referenda has been completed. The figures are:— For oft'-course betting, 4848: against, 3092; informal, Cl. For 6 o'clock closing, 6195; against, 1788: informal. 18. In each case the total number of votes cast .vas 8001. There were 133 postal votes, 352 absentee votes and four by declaration.
