QUEEN’S HALL TO BE REBUILT

NZPA Special Correspondent LONDON, Mar. 24. Queen's Hall, the London home of promenade concerts, which was destroyed by a bomb in May, 1940, is to be rebuilt in time for the Festival of Britain 'in 1951 at an estimated cost of £250,000. Although no details of the plans have, been announced, it is stated that the new hall will hold 4000 persons compared with 2400 in the old hall.
