WOMEN’S HOCKEY
Mrs P. Connors presided over a good attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Pirata Ladies’ Hockey Club. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr G. Martin; president, Mrs A. L Fell; senior vice-president, Mrs E. Berry: vicepresidents, six were elected; secretary and treasurer. Miss J. McLeod; auditor. Mr G. Wilson; selector and coach, Mrs E. Berry; club captain. Miss N. Collings; delegates to association, Mrs Fell and Miss N. Collings; proxy delegate, Miss J. McLeod: combined committee—Misses N. Carey, N. Collings, L. Burke, A. Stringer, V. McLeod, J Strachan, I. Dunn, Mrs E. Berry. The opening practice was set down for March 26 at Orana Park.
