LOGAN PARK TENNIS MATCHES
Men and women's tennis matches were played at the Logan Park courts yesterday in aid of funds for the hill zone queen carnival. In the men’s games M Lush and H. Monkton won the A Grade court match and went on to beat R. Easton and D. Brooks in the final. The winners played off -15 and won 30—24. Easton and Brooks won the B Grade court match and played off plus 5. Misses M. Kerr and M. Jolly beat Mrs C. Gilkison and Miss S. Cameron 30—20 in the women's games. The standard throughout the matches was good, and there were several exciting finishes.
