HEAVY TRACK LIKELY FOR BIRCHWOOD HUNT

Special to the Daily Times INVERCARGILL. Mar. 24. Although the weather has been boisterous for tlie past week it showed signs of clearing to-day and prospects for the Birchwood Hunt meeting at Invercargill on Saturday are reasonably bright. There has been a sirong drying wind to-day, but the track will be heavy for Saturday. Provision has been made to run the Otautau Harness Trot in three divisions, but only one scratching is required to make it a two-division race. Form horses include:—
