WOMEN’S CRICKET
REPRESENTATIVE TEAMS SELECTED The Otago women's cricket first eleven selected to play the Englishwomen at Dunedin on March 12 and 14 were announced to the Daily Times last night. The players are: E. Blackie (captain), E Paton, B. Morris, M. Whiston, ,T. Sew Hoy, R. Laverty, P. Holley, V. Meek, E. Butler, E. Hogg, Margaret Scott, E. Brownlie and F. Dickinson. The Otago women’s cricket second eleven, to play Southland at Bathgate Park on Saturday, was also selected last night. The team is: E. Paton (captain), E. Brownlie, D. Auld, B. Scoles, A. Tyler, M. Scott, E. Butler, M. Connelly, F. Dickinson, J. Porter, D. Meek, and M. Buchanan (twelfth player).
