EVEN FIELDS ARE ENGAGED AT TAPANUI

The fact that a number of the horses to be raced at the Tapanui meeting at Gore to-day have engagements at the forthcoming holiday meetings will add to the interest in to-day’s meeting. From the point of view of class the fields are not strong but the horses engaged are a very even lot and capable of providing good racing. , Betting will be well spread over most of the fields, but the following will probably be among the favourites:—
