SANDY SADDLER DEFEATS 'WILLIE PEP Rec. 11 p.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 30. Sandy Saddler, 1241 b, became the new world feather-weight champion when he knocked out Willie Pep, 125£1b, after 15b seconds of the fourth round at Madison Square Garden last night. Saddler battered Pep badly. He split the champion’s nose in the first round and covered his face with blood. In the third round Saddler downed Pep twice for nine. Pep tried to stall in the fourth, but the confident Saddler stormed all over him and put him out with a vicious left hook.
