BALCLUTHA STOCK SALE At the fortnightly sale held on Friday, small yardings of cattle, 264 fat sheep and 107 store sheep were penned. The sale for fat sheep was a dragging one and prices were lower by 4s to 5s a head. The small entry of store sheep met a ready sale, the prices realised being fully up to late rates. Fat cattle were poorly represented, with only medium quality.
