APOLOGETIC DEFENDANT
He had been celebrating the conclusion of the intermediate medical examination, a young man told Mr J. D. Willis, S.M., in the City Police Court yesterday morning, when pleading guilty to a charge of drunkenness. " I am very sorry, your worship,” he said when asked if he had anything to say, “ and 1 apologise to all the police officers for making a nuisance of myself.” The celebrant was convicted and discharged.
