NURSES’ CHAPEL FUND
COMMUNITY SING APPEAL
Nurses in uniform were present in large numbers yesterday at the last mid-day community sing of the season, which was held in the Strand Theatre to assist the Nurses’ Chapel Fund. Nurses I. Proctor andlt. Elliffe sang, and Dr J. Thomson thanked the Community Sing Committee for their work. The Mayor, Sir Donald Cameron, also expressed his appreciation of the efforts of the committee. MrH.r. Desmoulins led the singing, with the assistance of Mr J. F. Himburg. Mr A. H. Pettitt was the pianist. The final sing of the season is to be held on November 10 in the Main Town Hall.
